Tomas Rivera Middle School is a proud member of the 100 Mile Club®. The 100 Mile Club was started over 20 years ago by Kara Lubin for a simple purpose: to engage, inspire, and grow healthy kids! Click here for more information on this terrific program!
The 100 Mile Club costs $10 to join. This fee covers the cost of the incentive kit that includes the shirt (earned at 25 miles), gold pencil (50 miles), wristband (75 miles), and gold medal (100 miles). At the end-of-year awards ceremony, all participants receive a certificate that celebrates their mileage.
**Please note that beginning the week of 10/31/16, the TRMS 100 Mile Club will meet on the following days and times only: Mondays/Thursdays: 2:45-3:30pm Fridays: 7:00-7:45am We do not meet during holidays and non-school days. We try not to cancel sessions on short notice, but occasionally may have to due to dangerous weather or lack of supervision. When this occurs, we make every effort to give kids time to call parents to arrange for transportation.
It's easy to join the 100 Mile Club! Students can pick up a permission slip outside of Ms. McPeek's office. The slip and money should be turned in to Ms. McPeek before joining us on the track.
